A seller who wanted to list their home for sale called me. When I arrived, they asked me how to stage their home to sell. Like most sellers, they wanted the biggest bang for the buck. We spent about two hours going through the home, top to bottom. We looked at the each room, the purpose of each room, what the focal points were, and how best to capitalize on those features. We needed to do to get the home in pristine showing condition!

We spend a lot of time talking of painting, de-cluttering, general cleaning, and of moving furniture to best show the assets of the rooms. They decided to do the work themselves and I was happy to give them tips on to make the most of their repairs. When I returned one week later, I was impressed-- they had done a great job! We made some fine-tuning and then listed the house for sale.

We had three offers in the first week alone. Two of those offers were for cash. Needless to say, the deal was closed very quickly, and the sellers happily moved to their new home.

And the best part? The total cost of repairs was less than $500.00.
